Can I take it as a precaution?

Boat captains keep Mariners Miracle on board just in case. People keep it in the glove box. Tour operators ask their guests if anybody is prone to motion sickness and they give them a couple capsules just in case. Honestly, unless you are allergic to Ginger, peppermint, black pepper, or vitamin B6 it is just food so it can’t hurt, only help. I asked a guy who took it on a dive trip, and he said “I don’t normally get sick but was nervous. I didn’t get sick, but my stomach felt happy”. We have never seen anyone have a negative side effect so if your nervous, go ahead and take it according to the instructions on the bottle.
